Hyperloop capsule has developed a speed of over 1000 km / h (2 photos)

Development of Hyperloop vacuum train technology, proposed in 2012 by Elon Musk enters the active stage of testing real prototypes. Only on November 8, Virgin Hyperloop conducted the first tests of the Hyperloop capsule with passengers, and now it has become known about the success of the tests in South Korea, where the world speed record for vacuum trains was set.

The prototype was tested by the Koreanthe Railway Research Institute (Korail), which announced a record speed of 1,019 km / h (633 mph). For comparison, the speed of sound is 1191.6 km / h. It is noteworthy that the previous world record also belonged to the Korean railway workers from Korail and was "only" 714 km / h.

The first Virgin Hyperloop tests with passengers took place at low speeds of up to 173 km / h, and the design speed for trains traveling in vacuum on a magnetic levitation is 1223 km / h.

Hyperloop Implementation Project in South Koreaenvisages the launch of the first branch of bullet transport on the route Seoul - Busan (325 km) already in 2024. As a result, travel time will be reduced from three hours to 30 minutes.

Currently, the world is actively studyingthe possibility of launching trains using the idea of Hyperloop. Among the world leaders, the most significant are the developments of the Hyperloop TT and Virgin Hyperloop companies. Meanwhile, Hyperloop technology can be deployed in countries such as France, India, Saudi Arabia and the UK.
