Belatedly. Already on sale on Ali - Vivo iQOO Z1x - inexpensive, gaming, with 5G

Sometimes you miss something. Or just do not have time to work out, as the day is non-rubber. And then you look - it’s interesting because you want to speak out. I will label such news with the word “belated”.

So. A couple of days ago, Vivo introduced a very curious Vivo iQOO Z1x smartphone in its homeland in China (not to be confused with last year's Vivo Z1x for India). More interestingly, the smartphone immediately went on sale in their company store on Aliexpress. “Chinese”, but with support for many languages (including Russian) and with Google preinstalled.

Here are links to Aliexpress and local prices. Next to the fractions I indicate prices for the Chinese market. They, of course, will be slightly lower.

  • 6 + 64 GB $ 269 (₽19600) / ¥ 1598 (₽16200, $ 228)
  • 6 + 128 GB $ 299 (₽21800) / ¥ 1798 (₽18300, $ 257)
  • 8 + 128 GB $ 399 (₽29,100) / ¥ 1998 (₽20,300, $ 285)
  • 8 + 256 GB $ 379 (₽27700) / ¥ 2298 (₽23400, $ 328)

From twenty thousand rubles. What do we get for this money besides the 5G that is not really needed in our area?

Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Chipset. Smartphones based on it gain in the region of three hundred thousand AnTuTu points. The level is not flagship, but not far from the flagship. Promised enhanced liquid cooling. In short, with toys everything should be fine.

With memory, everything is fine, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, from 64 to 256 GB permanent. You can choose for every taste / wallet. But, apparently, there is no support for memory cards.

The screen is almost unremarkable. Well, besides the refresh rate of 120 Hz - hello to the players! Otherwise, everything is pretty trivial. Large diagonal 6.57 ″, IPS-matrix, high resolution (1080 × 2408, 402 ppi), a small round hole for the front camera.

Very capacious 5000 mAh battery, 33 W fast charging supported, no wireless charging.

What about cameras is an interesting question. Theoretically, they could have been economized on, as indicated, in particular, by the lack of a wide-angle lens that has already become standard. So you have to wait for reviews and look at the quality of the pictures. In short, the front camera here is 16 MP. And the main camera is “only” triple, 48 + 2 + 2 MP (main module, depth sensor, macro camera).

Minor troubles.

1) It is unclear whether there is NFC. Here and there it is said that the module is. But on the official sites I did not find any references.

2) There are no “our” LTE bands with numbers 7 and 20. For me personally, this is not very scary. As for you, I don’t know.

Otherwise, everything seems to be as it should. Fingerprint scanner on the side, USB modern. There is even a normal audio output.

I don’t know about you, but a smartphone for such money seemed very interesting to me. Although yes, you need to know what’s wrong with the cameras.
