Announcement. Blackview A80 Plus - budget king-smartphone with an incomprehensible quad camera

The guys from Blackview excel in sloppiness andthemselves, and everyone else. I haven't seen such a mess in the characteristics of the Blackview A80 Plus for a long time. NFC is either there or not. LTE frequencies are either these, or those. The main camera is either Samsung S5K3L2, or Sony IMX258. The front camera is either Sony IMX219 or Sony IMX239. The chipset is either Helio A25, or Helio P22, or an animal codenamed MediaTek 6355W / A is unknown at all ... I decoded everything as best I could. If you still confused something - do not judge strictly ...

So. “Four-chamber budget king” Blackview A80 Plus.

The chipset, it seems, is still MediaTek Helio A25.Fresh but underpowered - less than a hundred thousand AnTuTu points. If suddenly, all the same, MediaTek Helio P22 - there is not much difference, in fact. The same stone, side view. Only more ancient.

There is a decent amount of memory. 4 GB operational, 64 GB constant. There is support for memory cards, but the tray is most likely hybrid.

With the screen, everything is clear and unambiguous. A 6.49 ″ IPS-matrix typical of this class of devices with a moderately low resolution of 720 × 1560 (265 ppi).

The battery does not raise questions either. The capacity is decent, 4680 mAh. Charging is not very fast - 10 watts.

The front camera is 8 MP, there is no question here either.

The main camera is quadruple, but the resolution is indicatedonly for the main module - 13 MP. Regarding the rest of the modules on the official website, it is only indicated that they are auxiliary and serve to improve the image quality. The official store on AliExpress gives a little more information. 2 + 0.3 + 0.3 MP. But, again, without specifying the purpose of these auxiliary modules. To be honest, my intuition tells me that all this beauty is just for show and you shouldn't expect much from the camera. Moreover, the main module (whether it is Sony or Samsung) is approximately prehistoric.

NFC, apparently, is still there. There is a fingerprint scanner for sure - on the back. Wi-Fi promises dual band. USB promises also correct, Type-C.

Blackview A80 Plus is already on sale on AliExpress. Costs $ 179.99 (₽13,400). And something seems to me that this price is a little too high. It would be good for her to fall. Up to a hundred dollars ...
