As the expert in the Electronics category notesYandex.Market Kirill Rodin, this spring the Russian smartphone market was heavily influenced by the self-isolation mode - as early as mid-March, service analysts began to record a gradual decrease in demand for mobile phones. The Russians showed the least interest in the category on April 1, but by the second half of the month, user demand had recovered to last year's figures - the number of transitions to smartphone offers to online stores on April 29 was 54% more than on April 1. According to Rodin, despite restrictive measures, some manufacturers did not postpone the presentation of their new products, which stimulated user interest and allowed the market to quickly return to high demand.
