The electric car model Audi E-Tron GT will be released onthe market at the end of this year and will become one of the most powerful serial electric cars. The first presentation of a prototype car was held back in 2018 and since then Audi has shown several prototypes. Now the company has presented a pre-production sample with an updated design, which will remain in production models. Along with the standard model, plans have been announced to produce a more powerful modification of the car under the Audi E-Tron GT RS brand.

Audi E-Tron GT pre-production designreceived minor changes. This is how the shape of the side mirrors was redesigned, classic door handles appeared, the front air intakes were reduced, and parking sensors were added. The aluminum / steel bodywork with the optional carbon fiber roof is less aggressive than the 2018 prototype.


The electric car Audi E-Tron GT will be in motiondriven by two electric motors with a total capacity of 590 horsepower. The car uses the all-wheel drive Audi Quattro. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes just 3.5 seconds. The unique cooling system of the battery pack will extend the battery life without changing their technical parameters. The battery capacity is over 90 kWh, which allows autonomous trips over a distance of over 400 km without recharging.

Unlike internal combustion engines,The electric motors are almost silent, which is why Audi has developed artificial sounds especially for the Audi E-Tron GT, which are reproduced via an external speaker and change depending on the driving mode.


An optional sound package will be availableincluding an additional external speaker at the rear of the car and two internal speakers at the rear doors. The sound of the Audi E-Tron GT at the time of engine start will resemble the start of a gas turbine engine. The Audi E-Tron GT RS model will receive its own unique sound design.
