The video was later removed, but information about the virtual reality headset being developed at Oculus VR, under the general direction of Facebook, remained online and is now available to YouTube users.
The videos indicate that the headsetthe next generation Oculus Quest 2 will receive a more user-friendly design, which has also been repeatedly announced in previous messages from insiders. Also in the videos were revealed some technical characteristics of Quest 2. In particular, it is noted that the device's RAM will have a volume of 6 GB, and the storage capacity will be up to 256 GB. The headset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor, which is a big step up from the previous Quest model, which used the Snapdragon 835 chip.
The updated headset will also provideusers "almost 4K display" with a native resolution of 2K per eye. In a video titled “Inside the Headset,” he claims that Quest 2 will have 50% more pixels available than the current Quest model.
