Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition laptop released in China for $ 671


Huawei brand Honor is bringing to the Chinese market a new line of MagicBook Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition laptops equipped with AMD Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 7 48000H processors, manufactured using 7nm technology.

New laptops get Full HD screens16.1 '' with thin bezels allowing 90% of the display to be used effectively. The size of the frame will be 4.9 mm at the top and 14.6 mm on the other three sides. The screen gets 100% coverage of the sRGB color space.

Laptop hardware runs onAMD Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 7 48000H processors, depending on modification, with integrated graphics cards. Models with discrete graphics cards have not been announced. All models will feature 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSDs.

Effective protection against laptop overheatingprovides a SharkFin Dual Fan 2.0 fan rotating at 5800 rpm, combined with a system of dual heat pipes. The system ensures the removal of excess heat when the device is operating with resource-intensive applications.


The overall dimensions of laptops are369x234x16.9 mm, and weight - 1.7 kg. Developers claim surround sound, TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission, one USB Type-C connector that supports 65W fast charging (50% battery recovers in 30 minutes), three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI 2.0 and 3.5mm headphone jacks. The security of confidential data is ensured by the fingerprint sensor.

Currently in China, Honor MagicBook modelThe Pro 2020 Ryzen Edition with an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H is priced at $ 671, while the Ryzen 7 48000H version is priced at $ 743.
