Pocket PC based on Raspberry Pi Zero the size of a smartphone (2 photos + video)

Small compact computers on the platformThe Raspberry Pi has conquered a certain segment of the market over the past years and has gained a huge following of fans using the device for solving specialized tasks. NODE, which previously released the Zero Terminal Mini Pocket PC in 2017, is entering the market with an updated Zero Terminal Mini 3 based on the Raspberry Pi Zero platform. The Zero Terminal 3 mini computer gets a 1080p touchscreen, built-in battery and keyboard in a slider form factor.

The computer will receive a 5.5-inch touch AMOLEDdisplay from Waveshare with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The hardware of the computer runs on a Broadcom BCM2835 processor with a clock frequency of 1 GHz and has 512 MB of RAM. The computer case is printed on a 3D printer.

The design of the new Zero Terminal Mini 3 is closer tosmartphone than a computer, however, due to the use of a retractable keyboard, the device has a significant thickness. The Pocket PC has USB 2.0 Type-A, micro-USB and mini-HDMI connectors, a microSD slot for expanding memory, and a 3.5 headphone jack. There are three programmable buttons and an external speaker. Autonomous operation is provided by a 1200 mAh battery. The possibility of connecting an external keyboard, game joystick and other peripherals was announced.

The price of the Zero Terminal Mini 3 computer and the time of the start of sales have not yet been announced.
