belated. Yadro Kvadra_T - domestic tablet inspired by Malevich's square

Company (group of companies?) Yadro announced its first tablet on the last day of spring. And she named him Kvadra_T. More precisely, KVADRA_T. But I can't stand it when there are more than four capital letters in a row.

The official press release states thatthe creators of the tablet (as well as other devices that will be produced under the Kvadra brand) were inspired by Malevich's black square. What they meant by this is hard to understand. The tablet is clearly not square and not particularly black. But the guys attracted attention to themselves and Malevich. Perhaps that was the goal.

The network has already written about a million times aboutthat Kvadra_T is suspiciously similar to HTC A102. Of course, there are common notes in the design. But it is difficult to call these tablets twins. And I’m silent about the fact that their characteristics are far from one to one.

What's interestnig.

1. They say that the tablet is assembled in Dubna. I wonder what parts?

2. Operating system. There will be two options here. Or something of their own, which is called Kvadra OS and is made on the basis of AOSP (plus the RuStore app store, of course). Or Aurora. Yes Yes. The same one.

About the characteristics.

The most mysterious thing about Kvadra_T is the chipset.The brand is not named. Something eight-core with a frequency of up to 2.4 GHz. Do you know many of them? If we discard Qualcomms and chipsets with support for 5G networks, then personally I know only one. HiSilicon Kirin 960 2016. But nothing has been released on it for five years. I do not believe. So at this point we have a big question mark and complete uncertainty about the performance of the device.

Memory. Moderately good. 6 GB operational, 128 GB permanent. There is support for memory cards.

Screen with IPS-matrix. Diagonal 10.95″ (341 cm²). The exact resolution is not specified. FullHD. Most likely 2000x1200 (213 ppi).

The battery is excellent, 9000 mAh. And even charging is a bit accelerated - 20 watts.

Cameras. Everything is simple. 5 MP front, 13 MP rear.

There is support for LTE networks, there is dual-band Wi-Fi, Type-C, GPS-GLONASS. In one place, in small print, it says about the NFC module. There is a Pogo connector, so you can attach anything.

Pre-order is already open. Delivery, however, is promised only in the fourth quarter of this year.

The price is invigorating. ₽39990 ($494).
