New version of Apple M1 processors, created by 5nm process technology and ARM architecture show outstanding processing power and also show excellent results in graphics processing. The new GFXBench 5.0 test showed that the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and AMD Radeon RX 560 graphics cards outperform the integrated graphics of the revolutionary Apple M1 processor.
Benchmark data GFXBench 5.0 is not the ultimate truth and more detailed, complete technical studies are required to obtain data on the performance of the M1 processor, according to Tom’s Hardware. It is also known that GFXBench 5.0 is geared towards testing smartphones and is not the best tool for comparing video card performance. However, the obtained results will allow preliminary estimation of the technical parameters of the new M1 processor.
Test results in GFXBench 5.0 showed that the Apple M1 by a wide margin outperformed the discrete GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and Radeon RX 560 graphics cards. These graphics cards are quite outdated, but the fact that the integrated graphics of the M1 outperformed desktop graphics cards already testifies to the undoubted success of Apple.
