The UMIDIGI A9 smartphone has not been officially announced yet.But it has already appeared in the official UMIDIGI store on AliExpress. All characteristics seem to be in place. I hope they were entered without errors. But the PR specialists have not yet managed to compose the official story about the buns and advantages of the device and have not drawn beautiful pictures.
The name suggests that a newbieis the younger brother of the UMIDIGI A9 Pro smartphone. In reality, this is not entirely true. More precisely, not at all. The devices are very different. But what really unites them is the presence of an infrared thermometer. Similar to those with the help of which they sometimes remotely measure the temperature of visitors to shopping centers, clinics, schools ... (If someone does not know, the accuracy of such devices is frankly below the plinth. And if you hope that a smartphone can replace an ordinary mercury thermometer, then you are deeply mistaken).

Weird MediaTek Helio G25 chipset. Formally refers to the game line. In fact, it is very weak - less than a hundred thousand AnTuTu points. Used in smartphones such as Redmi 9A and Motorola Moto E7.
Little RAM - 3 GB. With permanent memory, things are better - 64 GB.
The screen is without any special frills. 6.53 ″, small teardrop notch, IPS-matrix, low resolution 720 × 1600 (269 ppi).
The battery is capacious, 5150 mAh. The charger cannot be called fast - 10 W.
With cameras, everything is also simple. Frontal - 8 MP. On the back there is a triple module 13 + 8 + 2 MP (main, wide-angle, depth sensor).
There is no NFC. Back fingerprint scanner. They promise dual-band Wi-Fi and USB Type-C.
Price $ 199.The 98 (₽14,900) currently drawn on AliExpress looks overpriced. I think they will drop it one of these days in the region of $ 110- $ 130. For by and large, before us is an outspoken state employee, albeit with a thermometer.
