Tecno presented its next smartphone today. It's called Tecno Camon 16 Pro.

Announced globally. At its core, it is a small modification of the Tecno Camon 16, which we already talked about a couple of days ago. There are few differences. The Pro version has one more front camera. And, if you believe the official pictures, then Tecno Camon 16 Pro has a normal modern USB Type-C, and Tecno Camon 16 has an outdated and annoying USB Micro.

The smartphone is positioned as a camera phone. If you look at the smartphone page on the official website - everything is about cameras, about cameras, about cameras ... And slow motion ... And a bunch of modes ... And night ... And such ... And such ...

Rear cameras four pieces - 64 + 2 + 2 MP +incomprehensible Ai Lens. Main sensor, depth sensor, macro. A fresh OmniVision OV64B is used as the main sensor (it was announced with fanfare this spring - only I just can't find a single smartphone where it has already been used).

The front camera is one, 16 MP.

Chipset MediaTek Helio G70. Fresh. From the "game" line. Not very powerful - just under two hundred thousand AnTuTu points.

The screen is big, as much as 6.8 ″, but the resolution is not high - only 720 × 1640 (263 ppi). Classic IPS-matrix with standard refresh rate.

The battery is large, 5000 mAh. Moderately fast charging - 18 watts.

There is no information about NFC, Wi-Fi and LTE ranges. Where, when and how much it will appear on sale is also unclear. Tecno Camon 16 costs only ₹ 10,999 (₽11,600, $ 150) in India. In theory, Tecno Camon 16 Pro should be more expensive, but not too much.
