Announcement. Cubot Note 40 is another budget smartphone with 256 GB of memory

The guys from Cubot seem to have run out of imagination. They took it and announced the Cubot Note 40 smartphone.

Who does he look like? Yes, to the Cubot Note 21, which went on sale only at the end of August. Only the appearance was changed, and the amount of permanent memory was doubled.

Who does Cubot Note 21 look like? And for the July Cubot Note 50. Only the Note 50 has an NFC module and a fingerprint scanner, while the Note 21, like the newcomer Note 40, does not have them.

Let's look at the characteristics.

The chipset is the well-known Unisoc T606 (~270K in AnTuTu10).

The memory is fine. Cubot Note 40 has 6+256 GB (versus 6+128 GB for Note 21 and 8+256 GB for Note 50).

The screen has a diagonal of 6.56″ (103 cm²). The resolution is low, only 720×1612 (269 ppi). But the refresh rate is slightly increased - 90 Hz.

The battery is good, 5200 mAh. But there is no fast charging.

The set of cameras is simple and clear. 8 MP front, 50+2 MP rear. We don't expect anything special from them.

The Cubot Note 40 has not yet appeared on sale, so we don’t know the price yet. But it obviously shouldn't be expensive.
