Micromax's previous smartphonereleased as much as a year and a half ago. And that one was, to put it mildly, not particularly interesting. And now - the return. With two not-so-impressive but seemingly reasonable mid-range models. More precisely, middle and “junior middle”.
The “IN” in the model names is “India”. Micromax emphasizes that smartphones are “for India”. So, apparently, there is no question of appearing in other markets.
The junior smartphone, Micromax IN 1b, is made on the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. Fresh chip. It is positioned as a game, but is not particularly powerful. About one hundred thousand AnTuTu points. We love Realme / Redmi very much.
Micromax IN 1b
The smartphone is produced in two varieties. The first is quite modest, only 2 + 32 GB of memory. Costs ₹ 6999 (₽7580, $ 94). The second is more interesting and at the same time not much more expensive. ₹ 7999 (₽8660, $ 107) for 4 + 64 GB.
Capacious 5000 mAh battery with not very fast charging 10 W. Screen diagonal 6.52 ″ with IPS-matrix. The resolution is modest, HD + (269 ppi). The cameras are hardly serious. Front camera 8 MP, rear duet 13 + 2 MP.
The older smartphone, Micromax IN Note 1, is more interesting in all directions. And more expensive, of course. ₹ 10,999 (₽11,900, $ 148) for the 4 + 64 GB version and ₹ 12499 (₽13,500, $ 168) for the 4 + 128 GB version.
Micromax IN Note 1
The MediaTek Helio G85 chipset is the one in the super popular Redmi Note 9. Fresh, moderately powerful - about two hundred thousand AnTuTu points.
The screen is large - 6.67 ″, high resolution - 1080 × 2400 (395 ppi). The matrix is still the same, i.e. IPS.
The battery is the same capacity as the Micromax IN 1b, i.e. 5000 mAh. But charging has become faster - 18 W.
Front camera 16 MP. On the back there is a quartet of 48 + 5 + 2 + 2 MP typical for the middle class - the main module, wide-angle, macro, depth sensor.
Smartphones have not yet been given to reviewers, so there are no reviews yet. But they will surely be soon.
