AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors passed single core test


Last week AMD announced the withdrawalto market the new Ryzen 5000 series of Zen 3 architecture desktop processors. Experts quickly conducted a full test of the presented Ryzen 5000 line in the Cinebench R20 benchmark in single-core mode.

To test the performance of the processors, we used a 3D scene rendering test using the Maxon Cinema 4D engine. The test results were posted on Twitter by user DGBurns.

The world's best, according to AMD developers, the Ryzen 9 5900X (12 cores) gaming chip scored 629 points. The 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X scored 618 points, and the Ryzen 5 5600X with 6 cores scored 604 points.

Thus, all models of the Ryzen processor series5000, in single-core testing exceeded 600, while none of the competing Intel Core processors were able to overcome this figure. The next confirmation of the high performance of the new series of AMD chips should be a test in multi-threaded mode.
