Another mid-range smartphone with 5G support is unveiled in Taiwan today. It's called OPPO A73 5G. Unfortunately, OPPO continues to confuse its lineup. Understanding.

OPPO A73 5G is almost completely identical to the OPPO A72 5G smartphone announced in China this summer. Only for some reason it is two grams lighter and there is no one of the colors.

OPPO A73 5G has nothing to do with OPPO A73 4G smartphone. Likewise, OPPO A72 5G has nothing to do with the OPPO A72 4G smartphone.

Briefly about the characteristics. Fresh chipset MediaTek Dimensity 720 with built-in 5G modem. The performance is very decent. AnTuTu scores about three hundred thousand points.

There is a lot of memory. 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of constant for OPPO A73 5G. OPPO A72 5G is available in 4 + 128GB and 8 + 128GB variants. Apparently, there is no support for memory cards. More precisely, OPPO A72 5G definitely does not have it. And in the official description of OPPO A73 5G, this issue is neatly bypassed.

A typical modern screen, rather big. 6.5 ″, LTPS-matrix, high resolution 1080 × 2400 (405 ppi), high refresh rate - 90 Hz.

The battery has an average capacity of 4040 mAh, there is a fast charge of 18 W.

OPPO A73 5G will cost if Taiwanesenews sites do not cheat, as much as 9,990 Taiwanese dollars - about ₽27,500 ($ 349). OPPO A72 5G is cheaper - on AliExpress right now it can be found for only $ 239.99 (₽19,400) for version 4 + 128 GB and $ 279.99 (₽22,600) for 8 + 128 GB.
